not counting steps

my fitbit stopped counting steps! Why? This is the second fitbit problem i've had in a year!

first problem it went blank, completely. had to throw it away and buy current one!

now, steps are not counting!!!!  

please don't tell me to buy another one! 

Is fibit really that unreliable? expensive piece of ....?

maybe you can recommend a step counter that works?

If you move your arms like walking when going up steps then rise your arm when you get too the top it will count a floor x
