I just got a fitbit and am outraged at the lack of explanations and instructions.
Does this thing reset automatically in the morning???
If not, how can I reset it?
And where can I find a reasonable explanation of how to use it? Your so-called User's Guide is useless.
Please reply by email
Thank you.

Daily totals reset at midnight.
If you click 'Help', then 'Charge 3', there are several links including
How do I get started with Fitbit Charge 3? and the manual. Also on your phone app, if you click your profile pic at top left to get to 'Account' page, then tap on 'Charge 3', you will see a 'How to Use' section.
By the way, it is no help to be outraged at me or insult "my" so-called User's Guide. Other than a few moderators, people on these boards are just other Fitbit users trying to help each other, and being "outraged" at us is not necessarily the best way to get help.

I'm not criticizing you. I appreciate your help.
I am criticizing the manufacturer.
I need clear and simple explanations which those online pages do not provide.

I'm amazed that this product is still on the market. I'll try to summarize the problems I have encountered.
(NB -- I no longer use the product. It is simply a nuisance, providing no value).
The device depends on touch screen and the screen often does not respond to my touch or does so erratically. I have this problem with most touch screen devices. Any product description should mention that gross limitation.
The use of the device depends on use of a linked cellphone. I have a cellphone, but prefer to only use it for phone calls.
The device displays icons, not words.
The device comes with no explanation of how to use it or why. And the cellphone app too does not explain.
the device automatically resets at midnight, erasing the very information I would want to save (number of steps). And the information on the cellphone app does not agree with the information on the device. the info for previous days is simply wrong.
I tried wearing the device when I slept, and it rang whenever I started to dream, waking me up. I'm an author. My dreams are important to me. I do not want to be woken up.
Instead of losing weight, the stress from trying to use this piece of junk has led to me gaining weight.
This **ahem**ed thing is a nightmare. I don't ant to have anything more to do with it.
