Hi all
I have had my Fitbit Charge 3 for 5 months now. Generally, I love it. However, over the last month I've noticed a number of glitches that I would't expect from soemthing that UI;ve only been using for 5 months. It has started doing the following -
Over counting steps - I walked my dogs this morning for 3.8 miles which in 7504 steps. Before walking my dogs I had only got up and dressed and out the house. By the time I got back from my walk my fitbit was telling me I had done over 15,000 steps but still only showing 7504 for the walk! It stayed at 15,000 until about 11am when it randomly switched back to 8k which is accurate. This is similar to yesterday - I went on a 20 mile bike ride and selected 'bike' on my fitbit. I had done about 5k steps before the ride - when I got back from the ride apparently I had done 16k steps! Why is it counting steps when I'm cycling and have told it I am cycling?
It randomly goes off throughout the day telling me I have met my 10k step goal when I have not. The other day on a dog walk with my partner it went off 'celebrating' 4 times!
It has no problem tracking my heart rate until the minute I start a workout then it is constantly 'losing' my heart rate. I find myself stopping so many times to adjust it until it can pick it up again.
Can anyone help with any of these issues please? As I said, generally I love it but i am so disappointed with these annoying little things it has picked up recently....
Thank you!
Katie
