With winter coming on, I've purchased a manual treadmill so as to continue the daily walking I've found so helpful for overall wellness. Unfortunately, my Charge 2 does not appear to track my steps, so they are not added to my totals. I'm assuming it's because I cannot move my arms (without falling off the treadmill!). How does one sync steps on a manual treadmill with your Charge 2? Thanks in advance!

If you put the tracker in a pocket or somehow pinned to your clothing, you will probably get steps tracked better, but will lose heart rate data for that time.

Best AnswerExcellent! It works in my pocket; never even thought of that. I'm more interested in the steps being counted at the moment than the heart rate data. Thank you.
Best AnswerI've been using the pocket method, figuring even if not precise, it's closer than wearing it on the wrist. When wearing pants without a pocket, such as pajamas, I've worn loose socks and put the tracker inside the sock, alongside my ankle, which also tracks. You might compare results from that to results from inside a pocket to see which has better accuracy.
