on my charge 2, I could push the side and turn notifications from my phone on and off. This doesn't work on my charge 4. Actually--nothing works on my charge 4. It is impossible to use any of the menus to do anything. I am so ready for an Apple Watch.  And Fitbit has discontinued email Help. They keep trying to get me to sign up for Premium, which I did for a year. I had to to do more for THEM than they did for me. They treated me like a kindergartener. I guess there is NO WAY to get Fitbit to be responsive...but I am so angry that I "upgraded" to Charge 4 because it still only randomly tracks sleep and is difficult to charge.

In addition to the problems you noted, mine randomly turned on running, then recorded that I had "run" for "767 minutes" (or other equally ridiculous numbers). As I can walk but not run, and as I was actually working on my computer or eating breakfast or engaged in other mundane, NON-running activities at those times, it was extremely frustrating. Even more frustrating was that NOTHING worked to STOP it from recording "running" or turning on Spotify or something else in which I had ZERO interest all by itself. Also, I could rarely check the time because it wouldn't show me the time, only whatever ridiculous thing it was doing.

 

Charge 4 is AWFUL.
