wont charge

i left my charge 4 on my desk for a few weeks it did not get wet and was perfictly safe. this morning i woke up and pluged it in and was suprised to find there was no buz. i checked it was still just a dark screen. i tried a difrent outlet cleaned the ports still nothing any tips?

Hi, @lucasdispenza , when the battery on your Fitbit has been allowed to die completely, sometimes it becomes unresponsive.  It’s great that you cleaned the charging ports, so that is one issue to eliminate.

 

Now that the ports are cleaned go ahead and plug it back in to a charging port that you know to be working.  Leave it on charge for a couple of hours, and when it has had a good two hours charge if it is still unresponsive, try the restart technique: 

 

While the Charge 4 is still plugged in press and hold the button for at least 8 secs.  It’s a little tricky to hold the button down while it is still in the charger, so you may need to try this a couple of times, but hopefully you should feel a buzz and the screen will come back to life.
