Well, after reading many posts in these Fitbit forums, at least I know I am not alone. It is common for Fitbits not to last a year. I have purchased two within the last year—Fitbit HR and the Charge 3–a present for my husband last March (2019). Both stopped working in November, so that’s a lot of money down the drain. I got little help from Fitbit support. No more Fitbits in this family. There must ne something better.

Hi @Ssmith51 - Sorry to hear that and I am glad that customer support helped you out! One thing to keep in mind is that generally, what you are reading in the forums are people with problems that they need help with. For the most part, people with devices that are working great, who don't need any assistance, never post on a customer forum.
Happy Holidays to you!

Where did you get the idea that I got help from Fitbit support? Maybe you misread the post. I think Fitbit was decidedly unresponsive--tried to blame the problem on needing to clean the device with alcohol. Cleaning was not the problem. A poor product is. I posted in this forum because I was looking to see if any other Fitbit owners experienced the same issues that my husband and I did within months of owning these devices. I found that most people do, so I added my experience as well. I will let you keep that in mind.

I’m on my second as well, crapped out after just 6 months. My brother bought the most recent one for my birthday in June, it died last month. He bought himself one at the same time - it died last week. Super irritating.
