Accuracy: different figures for same distances

Hi, I wonder why my Inspire HR shows different figures than other devices for the same distances.  For example my Fitbit says we have walked 14.42 km while my friend's Apple watch says 11.98 km. My daughter's mobile phone has also lower figures for the same walk. Those are large differences...
