Hi, @JilleeK and @candiceshea can you let us know what device (which phone, tablet or computer you are using to set up your Inspire)?

Have you checked to see if there are any updates available for your app?

Hi:

I was trying to set it up on my MacBook Air I had a couple of trackers before this one and had no problem installing.

I hope you can help me as I spent hours (should not have tried for so long) and it just didn’t work. I tried everything I knew to set it up.

Thank you
Candice

Hi, @candiceshea , I am afraid I need more information in order to help.  Do you have the Fitbit app on your MacBook Air?  Do you have other Fitbits set up on that account on the MacBook?  If so, which Fitbits?

Where are you going wrong?  Does the Inspire HR appear as an option to set up?  Have you checked whether there is an update to your Fitbit app?  (That would be the first step, I think.). What version of the app are you using?

I am sorry for so many questions, but we are bound to give you the wrong information if we don’t have the full picture.  If you have any screen shots of your set up process that would be even better!

I had a response from Fitbit to advise me it can't be set up on  Windows PC, which is odd as my Zip is on there, so i guess it's going in the drawer and it's back to the Zip.

@JilleeK   Fitbit's newest trackers cannot be set up with Fitbit Connect like your Zip could.  Your need a compatible smartphone/tablet.  I believe the Support tech gave you incorrect information.  You can set up an Inspire HR with a Windows PC running Windows 10, but you use the Fitbit app for Windows 10.  Here is the Inspire HR manual.  Set up directions start on p 8.

Hi:

I have a MacBook Air so have not heard if mine can be set up. I hope it can as I don’t have another tracker as they don’t work.
