I have All Day Sync turned on. However it seems that the only time my fitbit seems to sync is when I open the app. For example today I last opened the app around 1.35pm. When I looked through the web dashboard tomight at 7.15pm it showed that the last sync was 1.35pm. This does not seem to be All Day Sync'ing ! Anyone actually see it sync all day.

@gfbuyer If you haven't already, try to perform these actions and see if they help:

  • Turn off Bluetooth, then on again, then open the Fitbit app.  Let it sync and then test to see if it will auto sync using the all-day sync feature.
  • Turn your phone on and off again.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app.  Annoying, I know, but it might work.
  • Restart your Fitbit.

@gfbuyer Welcome!  Can you provide details about which phone and operating system you're using?  Have you performed a restart on your Inspire?

I have an iPhone 8 on 11.4. I have restarted the phone and also restarted the fitbit.

I have had a lot of problems with my Alta HR and all day sync. In fact, my device was replaced earlier this year because of this issue. Now my replacement isn’t synching at all, only several months after receiving it.

And YES I have turned Bluetooth off, then on. Deleted Fitbit from device and reinstalled. Forced a sync with charging port. All of the above, more than once. I have even totally deleted the Fitbit app then reinstalled. This is getting very frustrating.

The original issue was that that my heart rate did not show on the display, although the number of steps changed. Now the number of steps does not update AND my heart rate only shows resting bpm.

And before you ask, I have used Fitbit Alta HR for over a year. The strap is in good shape. The Fitbit is in the proper position on my wrist. Nothing has changed.

There is obviously a major bug in the all day sync program. Please fix it.

None of them works. It’s fitbit, not us.

It’s been going on for months and months it’s so annoying!!!

Im in the same boat along with my husband. I have an iPhone xs and he has an iPhone 6. Sometimes I can go 18 hrs before I have to physically sync it. We have challenges with friends and often we forget to go into the app and sync so our steps don't count as we missed cut off. This has been happening for months and its quite annoying. I have done all the steps suggested to no avail. It must be something going on with Fitbit...I hope that they fix it soon.
