Arm movement does not bring up time

When I bring my watch up to check the time it doesn’t automatically appear. I have to press the side button to show the time. I have not changed any clock face settings.  A few days prior to this my watch screen went blank and had to hold the button whilst it was plugged in to get the screen showing again. Wonder if I need to take it back to the shop

Hold in left side button a few seconds;  look for 'Screen Wake'; tap to toggle on or off.

To get to Quick Settings, including Screen Wake, on Luxe, swipe down from clock screen.

When I get to the settings and screen wake it says on, but it’s still not working.

Then it could be in Sleep Mode, also in Quick, Settings.
