Inspire HR. Less than 1 month old. Current Firmware

 

App was showing “sync failed” so I connected to power and reset the sync issues resolved. At this point the battery level jumped from 56 to 41. I reset again and it went back. I left it on charge for about 10 minutes and it read 92. So I reset again and it came back at 100% - seconds later. 

Utter nonsense. 

Whats going on?

Since writing it’s now on 86% 

is the battery bad?  Or are the readings messed up. Or both?
