Inspire: Logo Screen Only with URL?

I have a new Inspire.  I can't get it to sync with my tablet, phone, laptop, or a desktop.

I'm curious about the Fitbit itself.  The display goes from a smiley face to a log with the URL "www.fitbit.com/setup" scrolling across it.  It never gets beyond that.

Is this a problem?  I've never used a Fitbit before.  I suspect my problem may be a faulty Fitbit - shouldn't I get at least some kind of options screen?  As it is, no device detects it....

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Just to add.  I installed the software from the MS Store, but when I tell it to add my Inspire it brings up a screen of all kinds of models - none of which is the Inspire.......

Okay  - so this is the end of the road for me.  The Fitbit goes back tomorrow.

Bought a Dongle, same problem, it won't connect.  Worse, it now won't let me log on to the app either, it says "authorization failed".  So I got to the Fitbit web site and log on there - work perfectly.  Try to get into the app.....  no go again.  Just beyond frustrating.

Oh, and if you can't log on it asks you to turn on logging.  Once the app is at that stage, it won't even try to log on again, I have to uninstall the app, and reinstall it.   This is all on Windows 10, fully updated.

I'm sure the Fitbit product is great if it works - but I can't get it to work, and it's going back tomorrow for a full refund.

Hello @MikeCook. Have you tried going to the website and setting it up there? Because you'll have to do that before trying to sync it to the Fitbit app.
