My FitBit Inspire HR screen will not turn on. I tried to reset it but the smiley face never appeared. I know it’s connecting to the charger because it vibrates when I attach it. The light is still green and it’s still tracking my steps. But there’s nothing on the screen! Any ideas?

My Inspire HR just all of a sudden went to a black screen. It vibrates and that’s when I tried to hit the side button and nothing would happen. The green light on the back is still flashing and it will vibrate when hold the button down but nothing happens. I tried to change the clock face and my phone said unable to connect to device but it’s showing that it’s connected still. Please help!

Did you ever get this fixed? Mine did the same and they sent me a coupon to buy another. What? I just bought it 13 months ago. If it can't work for a year, then I'm not going to buy another one. I'm trying again to restart it. This time I'll try 3x in a row. So frustrating!

yes I did a chat with support and they sent me a new one but now the new one has quit altogether. I hadn’t had my first one but just a couple months and the replacement one tried to mess up about a month after receiving it and then after about a week of just leaving it alone it started to work again but today it went black and no smiley face or green light flashing. It won’t reset or charge or anything. I’ve been very disappointed. I always held Fitbit to a higher standard but I’m not sure what is going on.

The replacement inspire hr has completely quit on me now. Not able to reset, no smiley face, no green lights flashing, no vibration upon connecting to the charger. And I never get it wet or anything. Idk if that would cause any problems or not but just trying to think of anything that could possibly help with getting this resolved. So I need help once again please and thanks so much!

Hi there. Just wanted to Say that I had the same problem and I had a chat with customer service which was very easy and quick and simple. they determined that there’s definitely an issue with the Fitbit and Even though mine is out of the warranty Being that I bought it in May 2019 They offered me two choices one was 50% off a new Fitbit of my choice were an exact replacement free of charge. So I just wanted to say that I would recommend you call customer service because they were very helpful with me and I wish you the same!

Hi! I've had the same things happen a couple of times- here is what I did to fix:
Using your smartphone app, change your clock face to any one other than what you currently have. Let the 'new' clock download. After it downloads, using the app, once again change your clockface to the one of your choosing.
I've done this a couple of times without any additional problems. I do hope this helps!

I just got my inspire Fitbit less than a week ago and the screen went black and I can not get it to turn on. I have tried the reset and nothing I know that it’s on it’s still logging my steps when I open the app. What can I do to get this fixed?

MsPedrosa-
Presuming you are using the fitbit Inspire HR:
Using the phone app, change your clockface (any one of them will do)
Your fitbit should change to the newly chosen clockface.
Now, change the clockface again, to the style of your choice.
Your fitbit *should* now be up and running normally.
FWIW, I find that this happens to me on a regular basis and has since I have been using my fitbit Inspire HR.
Hope this helps 🙂
