Which bluetooth?  You cannot turn off bluetooth on the Fitbit.

On your phone, you could turn off bluetooth for a while, but have to turn it on to sync data from Fitbit to phone and Fitbit main database.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thankz Jonny,,    I appreciate your response,, was just wondering if i needed to constantly run Bluetooth on my  iPhone, but i also realize they must be in sinc to operate .... Just checking out this new Fitbit and functions...... Have a good Superbowl Sunday.......>>>
