Hi, @Milzy241 , unless you have DIM or sleep turned on, unfortunately it is not possible to make the screen brighter.  In bright sun I can’t easily see the screen on my Inspire 2 either, although if I step into the shade, or cup my hand over it, I can always read it.  It is the only thing I don’t like about the Inspire 2, which I think is otherwise an excellent device.

To check that Dim is not turned on, swipe down to the settings section and tap to access and make sure Dim and sleep are off.

Sometimes even in the regular setting I think the problem of screen view in bright sun is why the newer Fitbits now have a colour screen which is much easier to see and does not have this issue.  You might enjoy the Fitbit Luxe, which has a colour screen.  The Luxe has most, though not all, the same features as the Inspire 2 while being a little smaller and lighter.

I appreciate that this does not really solve your issue, and I am sorry not to be of more help!

Ah thank you, at least I know now.  Seems a bit of a rookie design flaw eh.

@Milzy241 actually, I should have checked when I first replied that you do not have your Inspire 2 in the dim setting (or in sleep mode)!!  I apologise. You can check to make sure that it is not set to dim by accessing the quick settings.  Swipe up to find settings and then tap.  Make sure dim screen is not turned on!

My personal experience is that even with dim turned off it is still washed up in bright sunlight.  That is to some extent a limitation of the technology of the screen.  The original Inspire had similar feedback and with the Inspire 2 they actually worked on getting the screen about 4x brighter, and it really was a significant improvement and works well in most light conditions, but still becomes hard for me to read in strong sunlight, and I assumed you were having the same issue.

Of course it will be much worse with dim turned on!  Apologies for not addressing this possibility first!  I have edited my original reply so as not to mislead anyone reading later.
