My Inspire HR broke recently and I replaced it with the Inspire 2. I just got it today, and already the water lock feature is making me want to return it. I came here to see if it could be disabled, and I realized that people have been asking for the disable feature for a year and nothing. Is there a plan to update the software so water lock can be disabled, yes or no? This will be the deciding factor on whether I switch brands or not.

Good question. I tried to turn the waterlock off as instructed and the tracker went black and couldn't turn it back in. Called support and they had me go to the app, choose a new clock face and that activated the tracker. But they couldn't help ne turn off the waterlick. They were suppose to escalate my issue but I haven't heard back from anyone in several days!

Fitbit has ignored these suggestions for years. They don't care about their customers' suggestions or concerns at all.

Try holding both sides of the watch til the disable locking comes up then tap the clock twice this should then unlock
Hope this helps
