Hi there

l have just purchased a Fitbit and have today synced it to my mobile. It seems to show that I have burned over 1000 calories which can’t be right as I haven’t done any exercise yet. It also shows calories burned for days before I purchased the Fitbit. Any ideas how to reset the calorie count to zero? Thank you

Hi, @Mylo1980! What you're seeing is your BMR calories, the calories you burn just from being alive. If you look back, Fitbit back populates them for about a year prior to the date you set up your Fitbit to get a baseline for you. You will see these calories every day, even if you don't wear your tracker. Fitbit then just adds your activity calories to this.
