Is there a way to change the appearance of the Steps screen to make the size of the font larger.  I don't care if it records all of my steps, such as 7544 instead of 7.5K, like my previous Fitbit Alta.  It was easier for my aging eyes to read the bigger font.

There are a few different clock faces.  See if any suit you better.

But nothing like just changing font or type size other than that in clock face.

 

How do I change my clock face?

To change your clock face: 

  1. With your device nearby, in the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab 
     
    > your profile picture > your device image.
  2. Tap Clock Faces  > All Clocks.
  3. Browse the available clock faces. Tap the clock face you want and tap Select to install it.
  4. Sync your device to see the change.
