This started popping up on my Galaxy S6 phone and would not go away. There were several options listed in the forums as to correct it, but nothing worked. I finally turned off persistent notifications and that seems to have done the trick. It does not seem like I will get notifications, but the battery drain is ridiculous. I left on the all-day sync, so we'll see how it goes. I like everything else about the Inspire HR, so we will see how this works out. **update** Well, that didn't work. I turned off the sync. I will just sync it every day or so and see how that works. I hope they figure out how to fix this bug.

Hi, Julie!
Yes, I had most notifications turned off. The GPS running started a few days ago. Previously, there had been a message that the Fitbit Sync Service was active, but this was replaced by the Connected GPS Running. At this time, I've deleted the app entirely. I decided I'd just download the app, sync, and then delete it again, at least until some sort of fix can happen. If it can happen.
