Connected GPS will not turn off

I'm having trouble with getting the GPS to turn off. I have went on the physical Fitbit website and turned it off from there and disabled the always connect option on the app but i still have the notification stating connected gps is running ( going  on 6 hrs) my phone battery is draining from this ..i have an Android phone and the fitbit inspire hr if that helps. Any suggestions would be helpful .

Not knowing what GPS you re using All the ones I have to have to stop it on the Phone when done. Are you doing that? Need to also push in the button on the device

I ended up repairing the fitbit to app then restarted the phone ..that fixed the problem. Thank you

mine does the same thing. Have to turn off location every day and then turn it back on long enough to sync. drives me crazy
