Countdown Isn't Working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

When I set my countdown for 20 min (or any other time) it will count down but it won't buzz to let me know that it's done. Also once it is done counting down from 20 it starts counting down from 59 min automatically.

I really need this to work so that I can ref soccer games and keep the time.

Nice to see that you're digging into the Forums @ethurn2010, let me give you a warm welcome to our Community. Heart

Thanks for reporting the issues with the countdown timer of your Inspire.  Please try to restart it with the following steps:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Hold the other end of the charging cable near the port on the back of the tracker until it attaches magnetically. The pins on the charging cable must connect securely with the port.
  3. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 5 seconds.
  4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

Your tracker should now work normally. Please confirm if it is buzzing with other features like notifications or alarms. And if your tracker still doesn't work after a restart please let me know.

I'll be around.

I'm having the same problem. I tried restarting like you suggested, but it didn't fix the problem.

I'm setting it for a minute and it just keeps going.

Hello,

I am having the same problem as well. My countdown timer does not vibrate once it is finished counting down. I only now realized that this was a feature.

I have restarted my FitBit on two separate occasions and it has not resolved the issue. In fact, I wasn’t aware it was supposed to vibrate at the end of the countdown as it has never done so since I purchased it in May.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Any help is appreciated.

Same problem here, I think it's vibrating, just can't feel it. If I hold the watch with my other hand, I can feel it vibrate (with that hand, but not on my wrist).

Did anyone find a solution to this? I just got my Fitbit yesterday and I’m having the same issue.

I figured it out ! I was having the same problem. So when you are trying to set the countdown you have to make sure you scroll down to 00hr then tap once again and the screen changes to 00 mins after you can scroll down to how many ever minutes you wanna set it for and then tap to set it. You’ll notice usually on the screen if you have set it for say 2:00 mins in the screen background  above it’s shows 00: instead of 59: so basically you have set it for 2:00 instead of 59 hrs and 2 mins I don’t know if this is making any sense but it works let me know if it did for you.

Yes, it worked!  I don’t think the Fitbit technicians know this one as this is my third one!  Thank you!

Thanks.   The vibration is too soft to notice.  It should be the same intensity as the alarm vibration.
