Hello @Kirre Neither the Inspire nor the Inspire HR count floors. Nothing is wrong with your Inspire.

Why doesn't it track floors?
how do I take the floor thing off my dashboard? I never get a full green flash when I reach all my goals because it doesn't track it.

Same here. I live in a two story house and was a bit disappointed to see it doesn't give me any credit for stair climbing.

The device does not count floors because, unlike the Fitbit One or Charge, for example, it does not have an altimeter. I don't think that the Flex or Alta have that either. I think Fitbit is trying to do differentiation between their lower cost models and the pricier models and that is one of the "features" they are omitting from the lower cost models.
In their defense, I have had a number of devices that counted floors, but, in the end, that was kind of a big "so what?" since it didn't count for anything on my health plan goals or my own (I am more focused on calories burned and steps).
It is annoying that the dashboard still shows it (with no data), should be able to remove that.

That is true, and we were wondering if there was a way to remove it from the dashboard but maybe not.

I have edited my dashboard and removed ‘floors’. Edit is at bottom of the dashboard. I bought Inspire HR to replace my Charge HR which is falling to bits now. Didn’t realise it didn’t count floors as the Charge did, but it’s not a big issue as I’m more interested in steps and calorie count. I never thought the floor count was very accurate anyway.
