Data not showing on the Fitbit app anymore

Data not showing in app properly when synced. I cannot view steps from previous days and hourly activity is not showing on home screen. I have tried all the usual steps suggested closing app, Bluetooth reset, shutting down phone, logging out of app, reinstalling app but nothing works.  This has just happened for no reason and has been like this for a couple of weeks now. Help this is just so frustrating and annoying and I can’t seem to get any help from the service team thinking maybe need to switch to a different provider as I keep having these silly issues and have been a member for 9 years! 😬

Hi Marre

is there any update on this fix yet as I am still unable to view data history and it’s been like this for about a month now and getting really annoying and frustrating. I am sure I am not the only one with this issue 🙄

cheers

Same exact issue for me. Device is recording data and app on phone syncing but no step history or hourly history showing in phone app. Also a longtime Fitbit user - maybe 9 years - has been very frustrating since Google took over.

I have the similar problem. Nothing has been showing past 4-5 days, especially sleep score and now steps. When will this be fixed?

Hi everyone! I'm sorry to hear that you're still experiencing this issue.

We've received some reports regarding this issue being solved after the latest Fitbi update. Would you mind confirming if you have your Fitbit app up-to-date? If so, please check whether the issue is still going on.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

No improvement at all. Since the latest update from 1 week ago, no data is syncing properly. Pretty much this watch became useless. And App Store shows no newer updates since then

Same here - no improvement at all.  Although I have to say that I'm having a hard time even finding what the current version is supposed to be because my app is tied to Google - it doesn't give me any update options under my profile picture (I followed the instructions as per Fitbit app on iPhone).  I can see that I'm currently on version 4.43.  Also, my Inspire 2 is still usable - I am getting data for everything on my device and all current data is syncing to my phone app.  What I can't see on the app is any Hourly activity on the Today page, no Steps history, and intermittent history for some of the Sleep data.  Hope this helps.

Btw, the only reason I am still on Inspire 2 is that when I tried first a Luxe and then an Inspire 3, neither would read my heart rate with any regularity, so I gave up on both and just decided to keep my Inspire 2 til it dies.  After that I'm probably going to shop around other trackers unless Fitbit/Google improves back to how it was pre-Google.

Hi Marre

yes I am running latest version 4.43 and no it has not fix the issue it is still not loading all data properly and seems to be getting worse 🙄 so not happy ☹️

Btw Marre - if 4.43 is the current version, I think I received this update in early April and it has actually been since whatever that update number was in early April that I have been seeing the issues with my phone app.  And, like Gaia, it has become slowly worse since that time - first it was Steps history that I couldn't see, then a week or so later lost the Hourly activity, then another week or so later started losing the Sleep data history for score and then intermittently some of the other Sleep data histories that seem to come and go.  Just for your troubleshooting info.
