A lot of people don't understand what the feature water lock is and I want to clarify it.
The Water Lock Feature locks the display so that it doesn’t move. Water Lock shields your device accidental presses. Water Lock is normally used when swimming. It protects your watch from damage by water.

Thank you for clarifying how water lock works.
I would like to mention, when you start a swimming session from the Fitbit Versa 3 or Fitbit Sense it will get locked automatically to prevent the buttons on the Watch from activating. However, in those two devices there is no option to manually activate water lock. The Fitbit Charge HR doesn't have none of these features.
There is a feature suggestion called "Add Water Lock to Versa 3". Everybody is welcome to vote it and if there is any update, it should be communicated as soon as possible.
