Device not counting Steps

Okay, yesterday was the first day since I purchased (6/16) my InspireHR and I did not walk.  It did not record my steps for the day.  I did check out my steps during the day yesterday and they were there but they didn't sync.  What did I do wrong?  I will tell you that I went to bed at 11:53 last night and did night get up until 9:00 this morning - would that have something to do with it?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To fix this step-count issue, I recommend you to follow the next steps to restart your device:

 

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Hold the other end of the charging cable near the port on the back of the tracker until it attaches magnetically. The pins on the charging cable must connect securely with the port.
  3. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 5 seconds. 
  4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
