Hello!
Recently, my Inspire 2 stopped syncing. I tried everything, even with the help of the customer service, but it's really broken.
My device itself, however, works perfectly, and I don't want to by yet another new Fitbit (would be the third one in less than 5 years' time 😞 ).
Now I'm wondering what will happen if I don't sync anymore. Will my device stop working? I use it to get notifications when I need to move more, to count my steps, as an alarm, as a timer, and as a watch. That's about it.
It would save me a lot of money if I could keep using it without the app 🙂
Can anybody help? Thank you!

Hi @EviH unless you sync, the time won't be correct, there would be no notifications and the alarm won't work. As for steps, it might continue counting them, but it wouldn't be adding to your history if it didn't sync the data. With the holidays approaching, you could get another device on sale. I got the Inspire 3 for $79 on Amazon.

The last time I synced was more than 2 weeks ago, and so far, everything is still working. Any idea when my device will realise it hasn't synced anymore? 😉

@EviHI've never gone that long without syncing. If you're in the USA, when the time changes, you probably won't have your Fitbit's time change.

As you mentioned above, I've been informed that you already contacted the Customer Support team for further assistance with this; in this case, they will let you know how to proceed. Please let them know of the steps that you already tried and keep the contact with them please.

Correct, I have been corresponding with the Customer Support, but there are no more steps to follow, and they have advised me to buy a new device. That is why I wanted to hear what would happen if I did not buy a new one.
In any case, I will wait it out and see what happens.
