Email notifications keep turning back on

I keep disabling my email notifications  (I still want them for texts), but when my Fitbit syncs, it always turns my Gmail notifications back on.  This suddenly started happening.   It was just fine a few days ago.

Fitbit are aware of this bug and are working on it. Keep an eye on the following thread where they are posting updates:
