Erasing data for return to factory

I recently purchased an Inspire HR but the screen was too small for these old eyes.  I upgraded to a Versa 2 special edition and want to transfer the data from my Inspire to my Versa, then erase the data from the Inspire before returning it to the factory.  Anyone know how to do that?  g

First, if you haven't yet, do a sync from the Inspire HR to get all your data to the Fitbit servers.

Then to erase data on Inspire HR:

  • Scroll up to Settings app > Clear User Data.
  • When prompted, press the screen for 3 seconds and release. When your tracker vibrates and the clock screen appears, your data is erased.

Then for Versa 2, make sure you are logged into same Fitbit account/email.  Go to 'Set up a device" on the 'Account" page.  It will probably note you already have an Inspire HR set up and ask if you want to replace it - yes (unless previous step already removed it).

Then when you get the Versa 2 set up in same account, all your previous data should blend in seamlessly with the new.
