Error message while downloading data export

Hi all,

While trying to download my data export from my gmail account on the fitbit data export/takeout page, I get the following error message: "Sorry, you have already downloaded these files the maximum number of times."

Can someone help me with this? Why is there a maximum on downloading your fitbit data? What is this maximum? Does it expire eventually?

Hi @Aniek_B. Welcome to the community forums. 

Thank you for sharing the query regarding the export data. 

Google only allow each archive to be downloaded 5 times; after that, you have to request another archive.

Your archive expires in about 7 days. After that time, you'll want to create a new archive with your most up-to-date information.

An expired archive doesn't mean your data has expired, and you won't experience any change in Google services as a result.
