I understand there’s an issue with the app. My one and my inspire are not syncing on the app. They told me the app has a bug.

Hi @worldincup. Welcome to the community.

Welcome back @Mariez

Thank you for letting me know about this difficulty with syncing.

Please confirm that you have followed the steps listed in this help article and that the requirements are met: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

In addition, make sure to have the app updated: How do I use the Fitbit app?

I updated it yesterday and it's stopped working again.

I made the mistake of removing my Inspire and attempting to resync it...now it's stuck in the '4 digit' Connecting to Fitbit....and it never does. On an iPhone.

I have followed those steps as well - I am stuck in a Spiral of 'Connecting to Fitbit' after adding the 4-digit code and it never connects.

Hi @DebbieM10864. Welcome to the forums.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot @worldincup.

Thank you for letting us know the difficulty that you are experiencing.

Please try the following in the order listed even if some of them you've tried already:

  • Unpair your Inspire 2 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Inspire 2.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Inspire 2.
  • Once your Inspire 2 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

Please try to pair your Inspire 2 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Hi, I’ve done what you suggested except I have not disconnected the Fitbit. I’m afraid I won;t be able to connect it again.

Right now it seems to be working. The app is still operating a little funky. Yesterday I have 20Ksteps and it synced and showed it in the app. This morning when I checked on yesterday it only showed 15K steps (which is what I had before syncing it for the 20K steps). The app has not synced correctly since Aug. it will show the steps but then the next day is shows zero recorded for the previous day.

I’m using an iphone OS 17.7. Fitbit 4.5. I’m using both the Inspire and the One interchangeable. They sync together without any issues.
