I just lost weeks worth of exercise data on both the android app and the online dashboard (April 12th-18th). It was there on Saturday and gone on Sunday. All my other data seems to be there. I can still see my activity, calories, heart rate, etc for that time period, but all my exercise data is gone as if I did not work out at all. This was kind of disappointing as I logged exercise every day last week.
I do understand that activity and exercise are not the same. I am quite certain that the exercise data is gone and that I was not mistakenly confusing the two.
I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app, turning bluetooth on and off, restarting by phone, as well as the fitbit and nothing has worked.
Has anyone else encountered this? Anyone know how to fix it? Is my data lost forever/will I need to manually re-enter it?
I am fairly new to fitbit. Is this sort of thing regularly a problem?

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device are you using? Did you experience this issue in the past or is the first time? What's really odd is that on your Fitbit.com dashboard the information disappeared too, therefore, please try the following steps and try to log another activity again to check if the issue persists:
