Exercise not tracked how do I get the data

Hi everyone

I'm clueless with technology so please help. I do a bootcamp 5 times a week. It never tracks it all. Only the cardio never the weights etc. This is the only reason I got a fitbit. Is there anyway way to get the data back so I can see how many calories were burnt during that time frame so I can manually put it in? So I can see what I had burnt before and after?

Thanks

I expect you are relying on Fitbit automatically recognizing your exercise.  That works for only a limited number of exercise types, as it relies on Fitbit figuring out what you are doing based only on the movement pattern of your wrist.  You can see the list of auto-recognized exercises by tapping the Days of Exercise tile on phone app Today screen; then tap the gear icon near top right.

But even with these exercise types, Fitbit does not always get it right.

But there is a way to be sure that you get credit for every exercise session.  That is by using the Exercise App on the tracker, telling it what activity you are doing and when you start and stop.

For how to do this, see How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
