Out of nowhere, after about 18 months of regular use (and care/cleaning/careful to charge to 100% every few weeks) I am now experiencing impossibly rapid battery loss and "freezes" on my inspire HR.
I have reset it several times, it will say it has 1% battery, put on charger, reset, 100% battery back in a minute. Put back on wrist and it's at 80% in 10 minutes. Or I'll wear it for an hour and it will freeze in time.
I want to blame Android update, but that can't be it right?

I use mine on an apple, and I have similar problems

Mine just started doing this yesterday. It is draining the battery rapidly and the screens are bouncing and switching. I have reset it 3 times now. I bought mine around the same time you did.

Same! Mine is under 2 years old, and I take very good care of it. When I put it on at 100%, it goes to 79% in minutes. I go to bed with it at 48%, and it dies over night. Is this how long they last???

Mine takes FOREVER to charge!! Today it was 15% at 7:00!plugged it up its now at 79%. I have to walk by and wiggle it unplug then plug in several times to keep it going. I go thru this every week. The charger cord is so short I cant plug it up anywhere but on a laptop. Im never buying another one.

Mine charges, but dies too quickly. The charger is weird- I plug mine into a power strip on the floor, and balance the tracker on a book.

That's a shame. I'm very hesitant to buy a new one now. 😔

Happened to me today. Out of the blue - battery dead. Charged it up to 99% inspire hr - died within 2hrs. It is not very old. I hope Fitbit support is reading this.

My Inspire HR is less than two years old and very well cared for -- just this week it too has started to act up and I have experienced all the issues already mentioned here.
I find it difficult to believe that it's simply coincidence that so many Inspires are experiencing the same critical issues at the time same time. Sounds more like planned obsolescence. If not planned, then resulting from a very serious manufacturing error!
Fitbit support - care to comment?

I’m experiencing the same issue currently! I just updated the iOS software on my phone and ever since have been running into this. Did you happen upon a fix?

Same with mine! Will be 2 years old at Christmas. Just started a few days ago. Takes a very long time to charge. Was 86% at 1 pm and down to 1% at 5:30 pm. Recharged and reset it 4 times. Now the face is totally black! 😞

I have the same issue, the battery won’t hold a charge overnight. I notice when I take my watch off during the day for brief periods it drains the battery even more. Watch was a gift last Christmas so I don’t have the receipt and it is only old. I am having to charge my watch every night. Very disappointing.

You should be able to get a replacement. They have a 2 year guarantee and hopefully serial number. Or they may know how old it is from the model.I’ve had replacement before
