False heartbeat at night Inspire 2

hello,

i have my Fitbit Inspire 2 for about 3 weeks now.

when I sleep at night with my watch and check my heart rate the next morning, it shows a correct heart rate registration. When I go to the gym for cardio later in the day and I make zone minutes, these are registered. after the end of my exercise it says on the register that i also made a heart rate of 165 at 01.00 pm in the night, what is realy weird because my heart rate all the other hours of the night is like 59-65  and is also don’t show high heart rate in the morning when i check the app. Only when I make zone minutes, it tells me that I also make these at night, while I sleep. I've rebooted my Fitbit a few times already. what can I do?

Hello, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @Rowena1994

Thank you for sharing this information about the inconvenience you've been experiencing with your Inspire 2 and that you already tried the restart procedure a few times.

Before considering other options, please follow the instructions in this article to improve the accuracy of heart rate information and check the information mentioned here about other factors that could affect your heart rate reading, this has been useful to other users who have experienced something similar.

In addition, I recommend that you try restarting the device again to refresh the performance.

I'll be around.

@Rowena1994 Thank you for your reply.

Yes, if possible, could you please share a screenshot showing the problem you mentioned? In the meantime, in case this problem is related to the app, please try the following:

  • Log out from the app.
  • Clear Cache for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings (Settings > Apps > Fitbit app > Storage > Clear cache)
  • Restart your phone.
  • Log back in to check if it still shows the spike in heart rate.

I'll be around.
