I bought a Fitbit to count my steps. I'd check my phone or wear a watch if I wanted to know the time. On my Fitbit, time is secondary and steps are my main concern. So why are the steps almost impossible to read in daylight?! The font is much too small and the color too dim with not enough contrast. Different faces allow me to make the clock easier to see, but again, I want a fitness tracker, not a watch. Between this and the inability to delete old challenges and messages, the lack of user support, etc. I have to say I'll definitely be checking other brands when I shop for my next fitness tracker.

I do have an additional question. While I appreciate your response, you don't address the actual issue of the steps font being difficult to read due to the font being too small and the lack of contrast. Does Fitbit have any plans to actually resolve the issue? They could offer a new watch face where the steps are the focus instead of the time for starters.

This is absolutely NO help
at all. There should be a place in settings to adjust the brightness of the light. BUT THERE ISN’’t. ThE device is fully charged but Incam barely see the readings. FIX THIS!!!!!

I'm happy I can now delete old challenges and messages. If they could offer new watch faces to fix the capability to see steps better and also to adjust the contrast -- especially for daylight viewing -- that would be great!

My husband just purchased a FitBit Inspire HR to replace another brand of tracker - at my urging, since I like my Fitbit. However the choice of clock faces is so limited, and all are impossible to read in daylight, making it almost useless for outdoor exercise. I really urge Fitbit to develop a few new watch faces for the Inspire series, and please add a brightness setting so that we can make it brighter.

This doesn't answer her question. With my Charge 2, my main activity immediately appeared in large letters that were easy to read, but with my Charge 4, that does not happen. I have to scroll down to read how many steps I have, and the font is far too small.
