I am now waiting on my 4th device in the mail. The first one I bought locally several months ago, but after about a month the silent alarms would just stop working and notifications just wouldn't happen consistently. After multiple days of waking up late (even after setting 2 alarms 5 minutes apart from each other, neither working) as well as the annoyance of missed notifications for calls and texts, I had to contact FitBit. They agreed to replace it as it's under warranty. I had to first mail mine to them, and then was told a new one would be sent and I should get it in "5-7 business days". I'm not sure what happened, but 3 weeks later, my new device had traveled the country so FitBit agreed to send yet another one express mail telling me to send the other back when I eventually receive it. Of course, I got both on the same day, but one was a "full device" and the one they sent express mail was just the watch piece with no charger, no wristband, etc. and had I not received both packages, that would have been useless. So I charged up the new device and set it up, and noticed the next day the HR piece stopped reading the heartrate. I tried resetting the device and even thought the lights were on, it just wouldn't read a heartrate. So since I conveniently had received a second piece already, I switched out the watch pieces. However, that now has failed to wake me up twice, and also is not always "buzzing" when a call or text happens. At work I missed a very important call because my watch didn't buzz. So I'm again waiting for a 4th one in the mail from FitBit. I have very little confidence that this new one, if received, will work since I'm now 0 for 3. I've been a FitBit owner for a number of years and am quite disappointed. Thinking the designers put a cheap/bad "buzzer" in these Inspire HR devices. Unreliable.

Same problems here!! The alarm will not work, then work once, then not work for a week. It screws with your sleep bad when you are sleeping with one eye open because you don’t trust your alarm. I did the same thing, set multiple alarms, hoping one would work but nope. I have contacted them and they are unable to fix the issue, they sent replacement trackers and still same issue. I went back to my old Alta hr and alarm is reliable and all is good.
Will sell the inspire hr and use the money to move to Apple Watch. If you are needing a reliable watch/alarm, the inspire hr is terrible. I have been with Fitbit for a long time and I am sad that the quality isn’t there anymore.

I have similar problems with my Inspire HR. I use the silent alarms to wake me up and remind me to give my dog seizure medicine and sometimes they just don’t go off. I found that I have to sync it manually after each charge or they definitely won’t go off. Other times it just randomly doesn’t work for no reason. Fitbit won’t let me return, since it was bought on Amazon. They just keep sending replacement trackers. Very frustrating!! I had a Charge 2 that I loved and got the Inspire as a birthday present and have really disliked it. 😕
