FitBit Inspire does not recognise cycling

Hi, I purchased Inspire a couple of weeks ago, but it does not seem to recognise cycling as an exercise, even though it is listed as one of its features. Incoming calls notifications seems to be a bit hit and miss as well. What should I do? I loved it at first but getting more disappointed each day....

Cycling is not step based. So it wont be accurate.

Some people put it in their pocket or strap it to their shoe for more accuracy. But even then it will not be accurate
