I have an Inspire HR and the app asks me to turn of GPS tracking EVERY TIME I open the app. I do not use mobile run and do not want to GPS track my exercises. How do I get the app to stop asking me

A warm welcome to the Community @ElyaShav. It's great to hear that you have an Inspire HR.

It's pretty weird that's asking you to turn off GPS. It usually asks you to turn on location services but it'st because of the Android system that you're using, you can learn more about it by checking this article: Why is the Fitbit app prompting me to turn on location services?

If that's not the message that you're receiving, can you provide me with a screenshot of the message that you're receiving? and let me know the mobile device that you're using?

Keep me posted.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I had a typo when writing this.. the app keeps asking me to turn ON GPS.. and I do not want to turn it on. It eats my battery and I do not need it for anything. Do you know how to make it stop?

Thank you for getting back @ElyaShav. You will need to turn on location if you need to sync your Inspire HR. You can learn more about it by checking this article: Why is the Fitbit app prompting me to turn on location services?.

Let me know how it goes.

Location services are on. It is prompting me to turn on GPS.

Thanks for getting back @ElyaShav. Location services and GPS should be the same things. If you already have locations services turn on, you shouldn't receive this message.

Please try turning on GPS and then restart the Fitbit app. If you're still receiving the same message, provide me with a screenshot.

Location and GPS are sometimes used interchangeably.  I don't like having Location on as well, but have accepted it, so I only turn it on when I sync, usually once a day.
