I've been wearing a Fitbit Inspire 2 the past week and it's been reporitng some pretty high step counts compared to my girlfriends Vivofit 4. Yesterday we spent the day together and I was almost double over her step count. And today I wore both watches and the Inspire 2 counted 62% more steps than the Garmin. I think the Garmin is more accurate, as I was sitting with friends yesterday for most the night and it accounted for 2,000 steps. Anyone else?

same here. It counts me as having taken 7000 steps today when it’s probably closer to 3000… I don’t even wear it while I sleep or anything. This is just me sitting in an office chair at work. I live in a small apartment and three steps between my bed and the bathroom is apparently 50. I’m thinking since it counts hand gestures, it might be more accurate if I just kept it in my pocket. Lol.
