Hi all, can anyone help me please! My Fitbit seems to be working fine but cannot get it to sync to my app on my iPhone. I have tried everything, rebooted the Fitbit twice, turned off Bluetooth/reconnected, deleted and re-downloaded the app…deleted the Fitbit from my account to re-add but now it can’t connect…so it finds it but cannot connect…I don’t know what to do?

Hi there, I’m in the UK.
I’ve noticed on the App Store that there was an update 1 day ago. I’ve also now lost the tracking of steps, distance covered, zone minutes & calories burned on the iPhone app. Therefore there is not data to link to the Nutracheck app. This is now very demoralising after seeing a daily automatic update. Furthermore, the on app Cals burned is out of balance with what is reflected on the wrist.
Hopefully this will be fixed very soon. I don’t want to be ‘forced’ to buy a new Fitbit during these financially challenging times.

Did you figure out how to reconnect your Fitbit? Mine stopped syncing. I’ve tried everything. Now I’m trying to add my Fitbit back to my account and I can’t get passed the terms & policies agreement, it tells me there is an error

Hi there, yes its a bit long winded but here goes...
1. I uninstalled the fitbit app from my iphone.
2. I unlinked the Nutracheck from the fitbit account, and relinked with the fitbit login.
3. I put the fitbit tracker back on its charging cradle
4. I reloaded the fitbit app from the app store & logged back in to the fitbit on my iphone.

5. To ensure the tracker & app were synching with each other... go to the home screen on the app, press & hold the centre & drag down... it will come up with "release to refresh..." then "Syncing your Inspire 2" there will be a rolling line of dots showing it is doing something.
6. Check the values on the screen are now the same as the fitbit... this removal of the app from the iphone & re-installation refreshed all the measurements on the app.

7. I then checked the Nutracheck was receiving the fitbit upload, this isn't immediate, give it at least 15 to 30 mins to refresh.
8. Put the fitbit back on the wrist & hey presto. Have fun with your exercising & continue enjoying fitbit.

Hi RosieW96, just an update, I've managed to fix my lack of syncing & loss of measurements on the iphone app.
Please take a look at my 3 part message, I've put step numbers in to follow. Make sure the fitbit is in the charging cradle before you reconnect to the reinstalled app... read on & hopefully this will help.
Take Care

I have done each of these steps, but, it did not fix my syncing issues. Now, I can’t even connect my device to the app. After deleting and reinstalling the Fitbit app, I tried the “Set up a Device” option in the app; everything seems to go okay — I get the 4-digit code — but, I get a message in the app that “something went wrong,” and the device shows “Download the Fitbit mobile app.” This is very frustrating.
Also, I should note that the date and time on the device are not accurate.
Is anyone else having the same issues?

Yes still can’t get past the terms & policies page. It tells me there is an error and to try again later when I try to agree

I chatted with a rep today and unfortunately no help there whatsoever. They couldn’t provide any troubleshooting than what I have already tried. Just kept saying I’ll get an email with my warranty status. I tried to push the issue that I don’t think it’s the Fitbit that it might be the app but still didn’t get anywhere. This is what my app is showing:

I also think it’s a problem with the app.
my device appears to be working normally, with the exception of the wrong date/time.

I am seeing the same! I cannot use the app, but the fitbit works (receives text messages from my phone etc) but I cannot sync or adjust the time.

Rosie, it says that your question was answered, but when I click on it it takes me to a similar problem but doesn't answer your question. Did you mark it as answered?

Sorry I’ve never used this before and marked it as the best answer by accident! Ok so my Fitbit has magically started syncing again!! I have just had to be patient….I’ve tried re-adding to my app for so long and yesterday it finally done it! So I plugged it in to the charger…went through the terms and conditions, added in the code on the Fitbit (which didn’t use to happen) and then just waited as long as it needed to connect and it did after about 20 minutes or so! But as other people have said I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the app, restarted the actually Fitbit, disconnected and reconnected to wifi…for whatever reason this happens I don’t know but after patience and trying and trying it finally worked! 🤗

My fitbit inspire 2 yesterday morning would not sync. I restarted the device twice, opened and closed the app, turned my phone on and off, nothing worked. I then saw that Fitbit posted a notice on the website and on twitter that they were having tech issues. Then yesterday I did finally get it to sync and thought the problem was solved, but this morning it will again not sync. I notice that this is happening alongside a sale on other products and wonder if Fitbit is intentionally breaking the fitbit 2 in an effort to sell more of their recent trackers. This sucks.

It is super frustrating. I had unpaired my Fitbit after trying everything to get it to sync and now can’t get it to pair again. Contacting tech support they just wanted to give me 35% off a new one even though I stressed my Fitbit works it had just stopped syncing with the app

Having the same problem. Wasted hours today trying to sort it. Uninstalled apps, reinstalled, tried to set up device again but can’t get past the thing looking for my Inspire 2. So frustrating!

Yep, Fitbit working fine but the app seems to be at fault. Not amused!

This weekend I went to my parents house and we were talking about the problem so opened up the app and lo and behold I was able to pair my Fitbit again to the app. It was syncing and everything. Come home and noticed it won’t sync but will sync if I turn off the wifi on my phone and use data 🤷

I’ve had one blip since recovering everything and it was solved by turning off the wifi on my phone, leaving it a few minutes before turning it back on again. Hope you get it sorted.
