Fitbit Inspire HR - Counting Too Many Steps - Numerous Posts, No Valid Response From FITBIT

Hello All,

Due to treadmills and other equipment that do not track well, I decided to invest in a tracker.  I labored over my decision of which tracker to purchase.  So many options were available.  I could go cheap, many trackers with good reviews are available as  low as $30 with many more features than the Inspire HR.  My final thought was this:  I don't want something that won't track accurately (I figured I would end up buying something else and incur additional expense).  So, I took the plunge and decided to go with the best, Fitbit.  Fitbit was supposed to be the leader of the industry for trackers with awesome customer service.  I didn't want to spend $100, but I wanted the assurance of the best in the industry.

Well, here I am three days into owning the tracker that tracks too many steps.  I read the advice and went through the motions.  I chose to tell the Inspire HR I was wearing it on my dominant arm.  I went ahead and logged "Driving" as an activity.  With all of this, I still have more than double the steps I actually take.

I am angry that Fitbit has not solved a problem affecting so many customers for an ongoing time period of at least three months if not longer.  Instead we are expected to be inconvenienced by trying to "make it work".  I have decided to post reviews about the problems so the masses will see them.  I will let everyone know where they can read about the faulty trackers and Fitbit's  unacceptable responses.  I don't want others wasting money on a terrible product.

Thanks for your warning. I was looking to buy an Inspire HR, will now research further. Tracking steps is paramount. I am also annoyed that I lost my Fitbit Flex 2 weeks ago through the lousy clasp it had. Nothing to really secure it.

100€ and after 3 days I I realized I basically lost money !

Fitbit doesn't care about how bad of a product I spire HR is , they know, the technical team it's working on it ...get lost will ya is basically what they told me. End result my brand new Inspire HR is a very expensive unused purchase.

I was always happy with my previous Fitbit tracker before , there is so many of us with issues on this model and no attempt to fix it not swaps not anything else other than ' we know, be patient'

Looking to return the Inspire HR I just bought. Counting double and triple the steps. Extremely disappointed.
