Fitbit Inspire counting steps incorrectly

I drive for UPS. I notice the more miles I drive the more steps I have, the less the miles I drive the less steps I have. Actually I walk more when I have drive less miles...it’s confusing I know. But I actually see my Fitbit add steps while I am not walking.  
How can I can change this on my Fitbit to correcting give me the the exact reading?

Hi @Zbejjix-, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the extra steps that your Fitbit Inspire has tracked, I'd like you to restart it as described in this help article. After this, check out this help page, which explains why your Fitbit device may track extra steps.

 

Finally, monitor your Fitbit Inspire during the next 24 hours and see if it tracks steps accurately.
