Fitbit Inspire steps not logging correctly in challenges

On two occasions my Fitbit inspire has not logged all my steps in the workweek hustle. It is very frustrating.  Any idea why this is happening or how you correct it? Thanks Nikkie

@Nikkie4477 It's great to see you in the Community!

Let me help you with your steps not showing on your challenges. Have you manually logged any activities? Do you have any third party app linked to your account? The steps from these scenarios won't count toward challenges. Additional check your timezone is the same as the person who created the challenge. You can read on how challenges work here.

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you for your reply.  I had not manually logged any activity, it was me who had set up the challenges and I am not using 3rd party apps so not sure why it is not counting all the steps in the challenges.  The same thing has happened today, I have done nearly 15,000 steps but the challenge has only recorded 12,081 steps.

i do track exercise sometimes using the app, would it not count these steps?

Thanks, Nikkie

The exact issue i am having with the workweek challenge. My inspire and app state 12,772 steps. My goal was 12,000. My workweek challenge states 10,200 steps. Very frustrating! I also was not notified when I reached my goal and not reminded each hour to move.

I recently switched my 10 max iPhone to an iPhone 11.

I have recently upgraded to the iPhone 11 too.  Maybe there is an issue with the syncing.  It does show the correct steps in the app just not in the challenges.  It is very frustrating.

My fitbit does the opposit, it counts steps for every time I move my hand in a strong way. Washing my hands is 18 steps... So I am not happy at all!
