Fitbit Inspire stopped tacking and syncing my steps

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Inspire evidently no longer exists according to Fitbit. My device said I had over 11,000 steps yesterday but tracking stopped at 3 pm yesterday in the 8,400+ range. Then today, again I have over 11,000 steps on the device, but the Dashboard says I have 0 steps for the day. I can't do anything, even the battery read is different between the app and the device.

Hi @SunsetRunner, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Inspire stopped tracking your steps and the Dashboard says 0 steps for the day. I totally understand how you feel about this.

Please restart your Fitbit Inspire as described in this help article. After this, sync your Fitbit device constantly and see if it tracks and syncs your steps properly.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

My Fitbit Inspire shows the correct time, and the battery usage is nearly full, but on the Fitbit App and Dashboard, the battery usage is less and the last sync was at 3:14 pm on Sunday, Sep 20. The device itself counts steps, but those steps don't sync with Fitbit, so basically I have a regular pedometer and that's it. Since it no longer syncs, I can't continue participating in my work's BeWell program with Vitality.
