Flexability in setting goals

Okay, fingers crossed. I have never gotten an answer to a question that I posted. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I have an Inspire 2, and I use the android app. I am 3 weeks out from hip replacement surgery, and 7 weeks from now I will have surgery to replace the other hip. I have been trying to set reasonable goals to aid in my recovery, but the app has little flexability in setting these goals.

The mile goal can only be set in mile increments, so I can't set a goal that is less than a mile.

The active zone minutes is set in increments of five. The default is 22 minutes, of course, but in changing it, my choices are 5, 10, 15, 20, etc. I suspect that I will have to reset my device to return the goal to 22 minutes.

The hourly step goal of 250 steps can't be changed, just the hours.

Steps can only be set in increments of 500.

This is VERY limiting, and makes using my FitBit to aid in my recovery almost impossible.

This issue leads directly to two hot topic issues. Bring back the dashboard, or update the app to include all of the features of the dashboard. Include an option that allows for a sickness/injury mode. I love FitBit, but current changes have severely decreased it's usefulness.

@Abrienna good luck with your recovery from two hip surgeries!

You have some great ideas for how to improve the Fitbit app to make it more useful for people recovering for surgery. The best place to post suggestions is the Product Feedback  forum. The developers read there to get ideas of what features people would like to see. I hope you will consider posting there. If you do, be sure to make a separate post for each idea, so they will all get noticed.
