I have had the floors icon on my device since I got it, but it never counted floors. I deleted the icon.

I just spoke with someone on chat who had me reset my Fitbit to try to get it to work. After chatting for several minutes and doing the reset, she then told me that my device doesn't count steps. 

 

Is this true? If so, I'm not sure why she had me reset my device in an attempt to make it work.

 

Is there a way to get the floors icon back once it has been removed from the "Today" screen?

Inspire family trackers do not track floor and never have.  They do not have the altimeter used to measure floors/elevation changes.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
