The Fitbit setup is not ideal. It never has been and fitbit has not addressed it. Perhaps being owned by Alphabet they will. The issue I have had today was.... let's just say I returned the watch within 2 hours and am going with a Garmin.
I worked at Geek Squad for years, so I experienced the pain Fitbit customers had. I recently was told by my doctor to monitor my heart rate. So, I purchased a fitbit inspire HR. And... wow. It is the worst setup I have experienced. It is clearly designed like a $15 dollar "smart" watch in a bin at the Family Dollar check out line.
Please stop releasing incomplete products.
Thank you
