HR completely inaccurate

Hi,

I've had my Inspire HR for a few weeks now and I've noticed from the beginning that my HR would spike out of nowhere even while sitting at my desk in the office.

I've decided to compare the values of my watch to a Polar FT7 with band and I can see how most of the times the values of the Fitbit are 20% higher

e.g. they are both showing around 75-80 bpm , then while my FT7 remains in that range the Inspire HR goes to 110 even though I've been sitting the whole time

what are the steps to fix this? otherwise I will return the product and get a proper HRM

p.s. I've read previous posts but I couldn't seem to find any definitive answer to this issue

I'm having the same issue. I have a very low resting heart rate (usually around 45 to 55bpm) so was wondering if it might be something to do with that. Literally only had the inspire for a couple of hours. Disappointing so far.

Currently it's correct but keeps jumping up (to about 80bpm and even 115bpm!) when I'm sitting perfectly still.

this looks like a very common issue but cannot find any answer from Fitbit apart from rebooting (which obviously doesn't solve the issue)
