Heart rate tracker won’t work

Hi,

i bought my inspire HR yesterday and synced it to my iPhone XR using the Fitbit app. 

Everything seems to be working except for the hear rate tracker. It is grey on the display and says - -bpm. 

I have checked and it is switched on in the device settings and I restarted my fit bit as well as clearing all the data and tried positioning it in multiple ways on my arm. This feature hasn’t turned on once no matter what I tried. 

Id appreciate help with this.

Thanks for the details mentioned. I appreciate the troubleshooting tried. 

Make sure your device is positioned correctly on your wrist:

• Tighten the band just enough so it doesn’t slip on your wrist. Your device needs a solid contact with your arm to reliably track your heart rate.
• Heart-rate tracking may not work with certain accessory bands, especially if they’re loose fitting. Move the band to a slightly different position on your arm—a little higher or a little lower.
